Albany Business Review: Globalfoundries Vendors, Suppliers Filling Offices Near Chip

The United/STEP 1 office/warehouse building in Malta, New York is filling with tenants, 18 months after computer chip manufacturer GlobalFoundries shifted most of its operations to its main campus nearby.
Just over 82,000 square feet of the 104,000-square-foot building at 107 Hermes Road have been leased by new tenants or had tenants renew leases, including one firm that expanded three times, said Laurie Tylenda, associate broker at CBRE-Albany.
